Scent Notes:
TOP: Bergamot, Champagne & Citrus
MIDDLE: Lavender, Cedar, Balsam & Patchouli
BASE: Moss, Juniper, Pine, Cedar, Eucalyptus & Camphor
Imagine a crisp winter night, the crunch of new fallen snow beneath your feet, and the brisk scent of pine tickling your nose. The combination of alpine balsam and lavender fragrance oils captures a woodsy Colorado scene beautifully.
This candle's scent is where sparkling champagne and citrus top notes merge with a heart of lavender, balsam, and cedar before melting into a bed of moss mixed with woodsy pine, juniper, and patchouli.
Geography:
Colorado is a western U.S. state with a diverse landscape of arid desert, river canyons, and of course, the snow-covered Rocky Mountains. Denver, the capital and largest city sits at 5280' feet in elevation, which is where it got its famous nickname, "The Mile-High City." Colorado is a state known for its wilderness and myriad of outdoor activities as well as its 300 days of sunshine.
The Colorado Chapter:
After many years working and traveling through the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia, I convinced my girlfriend at the time, now fiancee Angela, that we should move to Denver on a whim. It was a great place for us to wrap up our late 20s, and start our early 30s. We've lived in Denver for over 4 years now. And it's been a phenomenal chapter of life.

Care information
Care information
Here at VAKANSE CANDLE CO., we aim to bring joy and contentment to your space by filling it up with inspiring, aromatic notes conducive to peace and relaxation. Remember to always follow the candle care tips below (DO's & DON'Ts) whenever your candle is in use.
DO's
- When using your candle for the first time, leave it to burn for 3-4 hours, until all of the wax on the surface has become liquid.
- Trim your candle's wooden wick to 3/16" before each burn to ensure a steady, soot-free flame. A pair of scissors or wick trimmers are recommended, though you should be able to trim the wooden wick with your fingers using a small piece of tissue to break off the burnt wood.
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and any debris at all time.
- Extinguish a candle is it smokes, flickers, or if the flame becomes too high. These are signs that the candle is not burning properly and the flame isn't controlled. Let the candle cool, trim the wick, and check the space for drafts before re-lighting.
- To maximize scent throw, burn the candle in its desired space for 30 minutes with the door(s) closed. Open doors and windows will disperse the candle's scent.
- Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.
- If you've created a large wax pool during your burn, use a snuffer or blow the candle out VERY gently to avoid splattering the hot wax!
- Wait until the flame is completely extinguished and clear of smoke before replacing your candle's lid.
DON'Ts
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Lit candles should be in sight at all times!
- Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire, such as curtains, books, bedding, loose papers, fabric, drapes, decorations, etc.
- Don't burn candles near drafts: open windows, A/C units, vents, fans, etc.
- Keep candles out of the reach of pets & children.
- Don't burn your candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
